EXTENDED BODY PARTs

By extended body part (or extended body) I mean the body beyond the border of the skin, as part of a wider space and environment. This approach looks at the body in a larger scale, not as individual but as dividual.

THE HUMAN WEB

The human Web is based of the idea that the human, like many other animals such as birds, amphibians, and other mammals, has webbed limbs. Webbed limbs are limbs with interdigital membranes (webbings), facilitating the motion in air or water.

The webbings of the human are invisible but they exist.

Some webbings connect limbs between each others (like thefingers of the hand, the toes of the feets, or the two legs), some webbings connect a limb to the body (like the arms to the torso and the neck).

Most of the human have 21 Webs (4 in each hands, 4 in each feets, 1 leg Web, two arm Webs, and two mini-shoulder Webs.)

To move with your Webs can make you feel like a flying squirrel.

THE BACE

The Bace is the space behind our back. This extended body part gets activated when our awareness of this region grows. (the size of our Bace depends on our physical and mental activity). To activate the bace, walk backward for half an hour.

Go for a run with your bace!

THE BLOOR

The Bloor is the space between your back and the floor.

THE BODY SPACE

The Bodyspace is the altered space around our body (yellow) and in between our body parts (orange). It is an extended body part whose size, texture, temperature and form can change depending on our physical and mental activity.

The body space is made of air, body debris, water and other living organisms.
